BCMUD CPR/First Aid/AED Courses

Brushy Creek MUD offers a certification course in CPR, first aid, and AED (automated external defibrillator). This course will prepare you to recognize and care for various first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children, and infants and meets OSHA/workplace requirements. March Trail of the Month

Through this initiative, we aim to educate our residents about all the wonderful facets of our extensive and diverse trail system. The March Trail of the Month is the Wildcat Trail in the District's Sendero Springs neighborhood.

BCMUD Holiday in the Park & Craft Fair 2024

BCMUD Work Truck

July 1, 2024

In spring 2024, the Brushy Creek MUD Board of Directors allocated funding for a work truck that would be equipped to handle a wide variety of jobs within the District. BCMUD Facilities Technician II B.J. Cook uses the truck for jobs including irrigation, wiring, plumbing, and a whole lot more. All in all, the duties Mr. Cook performs with the tools and supplies in the truck amount to significant cost savings for the District. Take a quick tour of the truck with us, courtesy of Mr. Cook.

Monarch Butterfly Garden

June 26, 2024

In June 2024 the BCMUD Board of Directors approved a partnership with the Cat Hollow at Brushy Creek Owners Association to create the Butterfly Demonstration Garden on Liberty Walk Drive. The purpose is to increase the local Monarch butterfly population. Take a quick look at the garden's creation in this video. 

BCMUD 2024 Summer Kick Off & Cat Hollow Pool Ribbon-Cutting

At 6 p.m. on May 17, 2024, The Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District hosted a 2-for-1 event. A project to upgrade the Cat Hollow Pool officially completed, culminating in a ribbon-cutting event. The Summer Kick-Off Pool Party began at the same venue immediately following the ribbon-cutting. Here are a few of our favorite memories from that evening.

BCMUD Wins award for best parks and rec management

March 1, 2024

The Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District won the 2024 Texas Recreation and Park Society, or TRAPS, Gold Medal for excellence in recreation and park management. The District received the gold medal on March 1, 2024, taking the top honor in the Class V division, which encompasses Texas municipal entities with a population of 30,000 or less.

Cat Hollow Park Playscape replacement

Trout Fishing in the BCMUD
