Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District
Stage 1 Voluntary Conservation Conditions
Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District (District) is requesting your cooperation in conserving water. The District is currently in Stage 1 Conservation Conditions which calls for careful use of water. The recent rain has not curtailed the impact of the last several months of dry weather. If dry conditions continue, the District’s water supplier, Brazos River Authority, and the District may call for additional implementation of the Water Conservation Plan requiring mandatory action stages.
The District is urging all its customers to review and utilize the voluntary watering schedule, as well as other water conservation tips and measures found on our website The Drought Conservation Plan is located on the Utilities page of the District’s website under the Water Conservation heading or you can use the following link: bcmud.org/Water Conservation
Thank you for your cooperation in being a proactive steward of the environment. If you have any questions or would like additional information, please feel free to contact Customer Service at (512) 255-7871 option 1.
