Cloudy Water

The appearance of cloudy water can be caused by air and water blending together in your water lines. 

The County is currently relocating a water line at the corner of Great Oaks and Hairy Man Road. During this relocation, air can enter the main line and cause the water to appear temporarily cloudy.

Is Cloudy Water Safe to Drink or Use?

Although cloudy water may look a little unusual, it is safe to drink and use. No boiling is required. 

What Should You Do?

This temporary issue should resolve itself within 24-hours. If your water still appears cloudy on Friday, June 19, please call Customer Service at 512-255-7871.
