Dear Brushy Creek residents: 

As part of routine maintenance, the well at the Shirley McDonald Park Duck Pond has been shut off while crews wait for water levels to decrease.

This will allow BCMUD staff to inspect the dam under the pedestrian bridge located on the north side of the park. 

This will not have an effect on park visitors, but visitors may notice the pond's water at lower-than-normal levels while the process is underway. 

We will update this page as events warrant. 

Note: This is not part of the Shirley McDonald Park Landscape Improvement Project, which is also underway at the same location. For more information on that project, click here.
