CR 174/Hairy Man Road Closures

The City of Round Rock’s project for the Creek Bend Extension will require road closures on CR 174/Hairy Man Road from Sam Bass Road to Great Oaks Drive. All will be daytime closures that will not begin until 9 a.m. to avoid commuting traffic and are expected to be completed by 4 p.m. Work could be rescheduled due to inclement weather. Message boards will be used to notify the traveling public in the immediate area.

On Monday, May 16, through Thursday, May 19, the road will be closed in order to set all bridge panels that will be over traffic.

Thursday, May 26, the road will be closed to set overhang jacks for the bridge.

Additional closures will be required in June to pour concrete on the bridge slab and to do additional work to the overhang.
