Dear Brushy Creek residents:

As part of a joint effort involving Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and the District, crews will stock 400 9-inch catfish into the pond at Shirley McDonald Park.

The catfish will be delivered to the pond on Friday, Nov. 17. The stocking of the catfish typically occurs at Shirley McDonald Park every November.

Residents are encouraged to fish in the pond during regular park hours.
