4/20/2015 - Sale of property to ESD/Acquire property from SBVFD
Sale of District Property to Emergency Services District #2 and Acquisition of Property from Sam Bass Volunteer Fire Department.
The Board of Directors has begun negotiations with the Emergency Services District (ESD) #2 for the sale of property located in Brushy Creek North. The property is across from the Water Treatment Facility on Great Oaks. The ESD intends to use the property to construct a new fire station and EMS substation. The new station would improve response times to the northern portions of the District.
The Board is also completing negotiations with the Sam Bass Volunteer Fire Department for the acquisition of property located next to the Community Center. This property will be to increase parking for the Community Center. The additional parking will alleviate the current congestion that occurs during spring and summer leagues.
